Ive had hundreds of opportunites to photograph black bears in Northern Canada. After a few years I finally got a photo that I felt really captured the black bear. This beautiful bear was eating dandelion by the road side in late spring, hence the dandelion seeds on his head. I took this photo from the safety of my vehicle as being this close to bears is not safe. Do not approach bears on foot as they can be very dangerous.
